![]() As managing editor, Cindy strives to bring fun, relevant and varied stories to the pages of Plano Profile each month. She confides that exhaustive research requires personal tours of fabulous homes, lunches at the hottest restaurants, and attendance at sparkling galas. It's a living. Cindy joined the Plano Profile staff in 1997. Since that time, she has introduced many standing features. She also writes the popular Interiors feature, which showcases myriad homes from elegant estates to log cabins. With pals Barbara Walch and Lisa Sams, she dishes about the local dining scene in Dining Divas. Timely features and her monthly column Around Town keep her fully engaged in our city. A fourth-generation Texan, Cindy and her husband Tony are both Aggies, Class of '79, "Whoop!" and she earned a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas. Prior to her editorial position with the Profile, she enjoyed a corporate career with JCPenney Financial Services in advertising and marketing. Active in the community, Cindy is a graduate of Leadership Plano, serves on the Plano Symphony Orchestra's Education Committee, is a member of Hunters' Glen Baptist Church, and is now a TCU Horned Frog Mom.
