Pop culture enthusiasts got a taste of inventive art at the Red Bull Art of Can exhibition this summer at the Galleria Dallas. Creating pieces with or inspired by Red Bull cans, some 200 amateur and professional artists from across the country hoped their pieces would earn a spot in the collection. Fifty finalists made the cut. Dallas artist Hai Nguyen came in third, with his cascade of migrating birds in flight. Visitors seemed to appreciate the creative energy of this bold art.
