Soroptimist International of Dallas meets at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch on the first Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. Baskets of Hope is the club's signature service project, in which committee members fill laundry baskets to the brim with housekeeping goods that are donated to women who are transitioning from Hope’s Door in Collin County. The club also reaches out to Journey of Hope, the Turning Point Rape Crisis Center, and volunteers at the annual Plano Ballooon Festival.
