MOMS' GROUPS

Allen/McKinney Area Mothers of Multiples meets the third Thursday each month at First Christian Church, 1800 W. Hunt St., McKinney. New and expectant moms forum is at 6 p.m., a general meeting is at 7 p.m., and a speaker begins at 8 p.m. Call 972.260.9330 or visit amamom.org.

Coffee Shop Moms is a group of adoptive and foster moms that meet at La Madeleine (520 West 15th St., Plano) at 7 p.m on the third Monday of the month. For details, call Kasity Briley at 214.477.3915.

Collin County Aggie Moms meet on the third Monday of the month at the Texas A&M Extension Center on Coit Road. Visit collincountyaggiemoms.org.

Far North Dallas Early Childhood PTA is for parents with young children (infant to preschool) in far north Dallas, Plano, and surrounding areas. La Leche League of Plano provides breastfeeding support to expectant and nursing mothers. Call Beth Ayers at 972.747.1297.

Moms & More meets the first and third Mondays during the school year from 9:30–11 a.m. at Custer Road United Methodist Church to offer support to mothers with young children. Call 972.618.3450.

MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) is a support group for mothers who choose to stay at home to raise their children. They perform at least one service project a year to help needy children. There are three groups in the area:

MOMS Club of Plano – Central (open to residents located south of Spring Creek Pkwy.) offers weekly playdates and field trips, and monthly Mom’s Night Out, activity groups, and more. Meetings are the first Wednesday of the month. For more information, e-mail momsclubplano_central@yahoo.com.

MOMS Club of Plano – North Central offers weekly age-appropriate play groups, park play days, field trips, community projects, cooking and scrapbooking clubs, Mom’s Night Out, and more. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a non–denominational support group for moms with kids from birth to kindergarten. There are four groups in the area:

MOPS Preston Ridge Baptist Church offers a Day MOPS group that meets from 9:30 a.m.–12 p.m. on the second and fourth Fridays of the month and a Night MOPS group that meets from 7–9 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Plano Area Mothers of Multiples (PAMOM), mothers of twins, triplets, or more, meets the second Tuesday of the month at The Medical Center of Plano.
