Children’s Chorus of Collin County seek to provide opportunities for children of all backgrounds to grow musically, artistically, and personally. Plano Civic Chorus is an auditioned SATB chorus of more than 100 voices based in Plano. Under the direction of Ralph Frederick Stannard, the chorus sings several concerts throughout the year, often with local symphony orchestras. The chorus participates in community events, too. Plano Community Band is a volunteer organization of 95 musicians that presents concerts throughout the year at local parks and venues. The band rehearses on Mondays at 7:15 p.m. in Plano and invites new members to join in September and in January.
