55+ at Parkway Hills in Plano is a series of integrated ministries geared to utilize the talents of the senior adult community. Ministry programs focus on spiritual enrichment, service and educational opportunities, social events, and the senior adult choir. Exceptional Women is an organization for Christian business women that meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Prestonwood Country Club for an inspiring message and buffet lunch. Frisco and Greater Collin County Christian Women’s Connection meets on the second Thursday of the month from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. at Stonebriar Country Club, 5050 Country Club Dr., in Frisco. Grief Support Group meets at First United Methodist Church Plano on the second and fourth Mondays of the month to provide mutual support and encouragement in Christ through one another.
