Shelby tribute

Car enthusiasts from around the area rolled into the parking lot at Legacy Bank Texas June 30 for the only stop the Shelby American 50th Anniversary Tour would make in the state. Some 2,500 Cobra and Mustang fans including members of the Shelby Cobra Association of Texas saw and heard cars like the 1000-horsepower Shelby 1000 as well as a collection of classic Cobras, many of them racing veterans. Legacy Texas Executive Vice President Aaron Shelby, grandson of the late automotive impresario Carroll Shelby, said, "As a bank, we were proud to be a part of this unique event. As a family, we were grateful for the opportunity to share in this celebration."
